NDAD is a nonprofit, charitable organization that assists people in North Dakota and direct state border cities with mental and physical challenges, many of whom are not eligible for services from other agencies. NDAD was founded on the belief that people with disabilities and health challenges, when given the opportunity, can live more satisfying and productive lives. NDAD provides financial assistance for prescription medications, medical equipment, medical supplies, out of town medical travel, home and vehicle accessibility, personal attendant care, paratransit, adaptive recreational activities. NDAD provides a free, short term equipment loan program. NDAD also provides information and referral services to help people receive assistance through other agencies, when possible.
