"Counseling can be a great benefit for individuals undergoing great stress/mental disorders. But it should be more. While suffering from a life threatening emotional/physical disorder, I sought counseling for several years. Nothing changed until I started counseling at Northland.Lasting change did not come quickly. During months of learning truths that came with authority, God's authority, almost everything changed. The NCCC Client Assistance Program made it possible for me to continue affordable long term counseling. Today I do not need professional counseling, but I continue to make sure I stay well and deal with life's challenges in a godly manner. I am extremely grateful to NCCC for helping to literally save my life". -NCCC client who benefitted from Client Assistance Fund
