Chasing Horses Wild Horse Advocates (CHWHA) was born in 2021 as a 501(c)3 organization that advocates for the wild horses that call TRNP home. Our work to protect the Theodore Roosevelt National Park wild horses is NOT over yet! With your help and support, we were able to stop the park's plans to eliminate the ENTIRE herd of horses in 2024. NOW, we are working hard to get the best piece of federal legislation possible for these historic wild horses so they NEVER face the threat of removal again! Senator Hoeven has introduced S1377 - The Theodore Roosevelt National Park Wild Horse Protection Act into Congress. We are working with him and other members of Congress to get this legislation amended so that these horses get the best federal protection possible!
