Jamestown United Way has been in existence since 1956. Services have been provided to a large number of local agencies providing serves within Stutsman County, North Dakota. Jamestown United Way provides services to individuals starting at birth with no age limit to services available or provided. Jamestown United Way will be using funds to partner with elementary schools to provide warm winter gear for students to ensure they are safe and have the proper attire for North Dakota winter weather. Coats are provided by another local entity. We will provide gloves, hats scarves, ear muffs and boots if necessary. Elementary students in all local schools will be eligible to access the winter gear. We believe this is an important mission for our United Way to tackle due to local need.
